… “The wind blows where it wishes and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
Some people find it hard to believe in a powerful, relevant, ever present GOD that cannot be seen. But there is proof that He is real and intervenes in the affairs of mankind.
The wind is a demonstration of something that cannot be seen, but is universally understood to exist. The wind absolutely is invisible. But we can notice it’s power as it shuffles through the trees. We can feel it brushing against our cheeks. Nobody needs convincing that the wind is blowing when there is so much evidence that it is in motion around us.
That is similar to the process experienced by believers in the Lord JESUS CHRIST. His impact is so evident to us. We feel His peace, when there is no peace. We feel His joy in situations that are not joyful. We sense His deep love and compassion within. He removes sorrow and carries our grief.
When we pray in faith, in the name of JESUS CHRIST, we see His power in action against sickness and disease. In answer to prayer, JESUS demonstrates His presence. He changes circumstances and resolves difficulties. He averts trouble and danger for those who call upon Him in faith.
Our invisible Savior also performs supernatural manifestation of His presence through the infilling of His Spirit. You can’t see the Spirit, but the evidence of His operation in our lives is manifest.
Acts 2:1-4 New International Version (NIV) When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
