Purpose and Commitment

This is a forum for sincere prayer on behalf of people throughout the earth.

By some estimates, the population of the world is approaching 8 billion.  The Holy Bible shows us that all 8 billion are seen, and loved by GOD.  He has extended his salvation to “whosoever” will accept it. 

John 3:16 New International Version (NIV) For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

GOD does not want any one of the 8 billion to perish without salvation.  JESUS told a story about a shepherd who left 99 sheep to find 1 that was lost.    

In Matthew 18:14 New International Version (NIV), JESUS said ” In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish”.   

Another passage that illustrates GOD’s concern is 2 Peter 3:9 New International Version (NIV), which says “ The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”

There is such enormous suffering in this world.  One need only pick up a newspaper, turn on the TV, radio, cell phone, or other device, to hear about it.  Suffering is daily, and it is widespread.

We need people to pray.  All 8 billion people on earth need prayer. It is a supernatural means of pulling down the love, the salvation, the healing, the deliverance, the relief, and the justice that are needed in every corner of the globe.

We need 8 billion prayers.
